Open Forum: What's in a Shield

Would a shield by any other name still be as effective? Not so long ago this conversation came up. After much digging around and sorting things out, I've decided to make a post to effectively answer this problem should it ever arise again. What it really breaks down is what makes something "WYSIWIG" and how to effectively represent that.

An Incredible Tale

Bitz Yard: Finecast Boss Zagstrukk

Welcome back, where've you been? What do you mean it's me who hasn't posted anything in forever? In that case, right to business. Just because everyone else has already talked about it doesn't mean I'm late. I just like having the final word. If the title hasn't given it away already, I will be looking at the relatively new Finecast. Not so much a review or instruction manual, but observations.

Concept Art: Destroyable Buildings

The other night I had an exciting idea. I cannot claim to be the first to think of doing this, but it is the first I have thought of this and the prospect of making it work excites me as a gamer and hobbyist. That is, of course, destroyable buildings that are easily employed during a game.

Tools: Organization

Today I'd like to talk about a tool that's not so much worked with as it would be utilized. Something different, I know, but still important. Organization is as much a skill as it is a tool, and an important one for this hobby. Especially with as many bitz and projects that 40K generates.

Special Project: Wedding Cake Topper

This has been a crazy month. Unfortunately nothing new or inspiring for the wargaming tables this month, but certainly lots of creativity. Between Blood Angels and Grey Knights flying or teleporting all over the place, a certain special project managed to disrupt all of that.

I never intended my blog to be a place for reviews, rants, opinions or tutorials, simply gathered inspiration, and that won't be changing with the Bitz Yard.
